Peanut Butter with no hydrogenated oils

Besides being a yummy favorite of nearly everyone, peanut butter has many health benefits.  However, not all peanut butters are created equal.  Most of them contain hydrogenated oils or added sugars, which takes away the health benefits and changes it to a negative.  Hydrogenated oils raise cholesterol and are the “bad fats” we know to avoid.  But they are cheap and can sit on a shelf for years without going bad, so they are popular.

We use Teddie’s Peanut Butter from Boston, which is the best peanut butter we have found on the planet.  It has only peanuts and a little salt.

Rather than getting hyped-up about new concoctions like soy protein isolates, our bars get their protein from very natural sources, age-old ingredients, like peanuts and other fruits and nuts.
